Goritsa Grancharova - Kozhareva

Acting President of the Bulgarian National Audit Office for the period from the appointment of the President of the Bulgarian National Audit Office, Dimitar Glavchev as Acting Prime Minister according to Art. 99, para. 5 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria until his release from the position

 

 

She graduated in “Accountancy and Control”, “D.A. Tsenov”, Academy of Svishtov.

 

She has a long professional experience in the field of banking and finance as accountant in State Insurance Institute (DZI) – Razlog; Branch Manager TS Bank Ltd –Bansko and Deputy Chief Accountant in "Bulgargas"; Manager in CIBANK Ltd, Chief Expert in the National Revenue Agency.

 

13th April 2005-26th January 2011 – Member of the Bulgarian National Audit Office and Head of Department in charge of auditing: Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Environment and Water, National Statistical Institute, Commission for Personal Data Protection, Council for Electronic Media, Bulgarian National Radio, Bulgarian Export Insurance Agency.

 

Goritza Grancharova - Kozhareva coordinates the activities of the Bulgarian National Audit Office with the International Board of Auditors for NATO, as well as participates in cooperation projects with EUROSAI.

 

April 2011 – June 2014 - Member of the Consultative Council to the National Audit Office of the Republic of Bulgaria.

 

11th June 2014– 26th March 2015 – Member of the Bulgarian National Audit Office and Head of Department in charge of auditing: the National Assembly, the Presidential Administration, the Council of Ministers, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Bulgaria, Ombudsman, Bulgarian National Bank, Ministry of Regional Development and Labour, Ministry of Youth and Sports, some central commissions and universities. Goritza Grancharova - Kozhareva coordinates a working group for elaborating the Performance audits part of the Manual on the implementation of the internationally accepted auditing standards and on the audit work of the National Audit Office.

 

The National Assembly elected Ms Goritza Grancharova - Kozhareva Vice-President of the National Audit Office of the Republic of Bulgaria on April 9, 2015.

 

On January 20, 2023, she was appointed by a decision of the National Assembly as the president of the Bulgarian National Audit Office until a new president is elected.

 

By a decision of the National Assembly of July 7, 2023, she was appointed as Acting President of the Bulgarian National Audit Office until the election of a new President, when she once again took the position of Vice-President of the Bulgarian National Audit Office.

 

As of April 8, 2024, she has been designated as Acting President of the Bulgarian National Audit Office for the period from the appointment of the President of the Bulgarian National Audit Office, Dimitar Glavchev as acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria in accordance with Art. 99, para. 5 of the Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria until his release from the position.

 

 

Toshko Todorov

 

Vice-President

 

 

He graduated from “D. A. Tsenov” Academy of Economics – Svishtov, Master’s Degree in Economy and Business Administration.

 

He started his career as accountant. Toshko Todorov has had an extensive career in public sector. In 1992-1999 he served in several positions as Tax Inspector and Chief Tax Inspector, Chief Tax Expert –Head of “Collection” Service, Head of Regional Tax Administration – Dobrich. In 2000-2005 he is Regional Director at Regional Tax Directorate – Dobrich.

 

In January – June 2006 he is Deputy Director of “Appeal and Management of Execution Directorate” – Varna, Central Management of the National Revenue Agency and till 2008 he is chief expert within the same structure at the Central Administration of the National Revenue Agency – Sofia.

 

In August 2009 -May 2012 he is Deputy Executive Director of the National Revenue Agency.

 

In August 2012 - June 2013 he is Chief Expert – Operative Assistant to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior.

 

Since November 2013 he is business consultant in Tehra Ltd and Bomix Ltd.

 

The National Assembly elected him Vice - President of the National Audit Office of the Republic of Bulgaria on April 9, 2015.
