Mission 2.2.2.1 regarding pilot performance audit in the public in procurement area under Activity 2.2. To perform 4 pilot performance audits on EU Funds, ICT, public procurement and progress in implementing public internal financial control

Pilot Performance Audit " Effectiveness of the policies, measures and activities for the public procurement contract awarding for the public enterprises of the City of Skopje" carry out as part of the twinning project. Through the audit process, methodologies of both audit institutions were presented, analyzed and disscussed and similiarities and differences were determined. Certain examples of good practices were suggested and considered in order to improve the quality of performance auditing.

The expected effects of the pilot audit are: analysis of performance audit methodologies in both countries participating in this Project should contribute to strength capacities and knowledge in performance auditing; Improving procurement planning; rational utilization of human resources and public funds and implementation in accordance with the awarded contracts.
