The implementation of the first activities under the Twinning project "Improvement of external audit and Parliamentary oversight" has started

The Short Term Experts have started the implementation of the first activities under the Twinning Project "Improvement of external audit and Parliamentary oversight" in the Republic of North Macedonia.         

In May 2021, Bulgarian Short Term Experts have carried out a total number of five missions related to the legal framework of the external audit, the law related to auditing of financing of political parties and election campaigns, the law with regards to new organic budget law – OBL, methodology acts for improved performance audit as well as the policies and procedures on using SAO web site and communication with relevant stakeholders.   

A total of 11 missions are carried out either by Bulgarian, Croatian or Estonian experts during the whole month of May 2021.
